The Coton de Tulear is a rare, small breed that originated on the island of Madagascar, and was first brought to North America in 1974. Cotons are wonderful companions and are smart, loyal, as well as easy to train. And perhaps among their best features are that Cotons do not shed, requiring minimal grooming, and are hypoallergenic.
At Preston Hollow Cotons we are dedicated to the strict guidelines of the CTCA Ethical Breeding Standards for preserving and protecting the Coton de Tulear breed. We believe strongly in health testing our breeding Cotons according to the CTCA Ethical Breeding requirements. And we emphasize breeding healthy, beautiful and well-tempered Cotons along with keeping the original characteristics of the breed.
